인터넷 익스플로러 인쇄시 오른쪽 단어 짤림 현상 해결 방법
Internet Explorer에서 웹페이지를 인쇄를 해본적 있으십니까?
무심코 인쇄 했다가 우측 단어가 짤려 어떻게 해야하나 생각해 보신 분 분명 있을 겁니다.
그동안 그 문제를 해결하기 위해서 firefox나 opera같은 외부 웹브라우져를 설치해 사용했는데
이게 또 문제가 뭐냐 하면, 사이트들이 너무 익스플로러에 맞춰져 있다보니
아예 보이지도 않는 사이트도 많고 폰트가 겹쳐지는 등 자잘한 문제가 있습니다.
그런데! 찾아보니 이런게 있었습니다.
이름하여 IE-Print Add-in!
Internet Explorer Fitted-Width Printing
Have you ever printed a web page only to find that the right-hand edge is missing? This is for you. First, this download page will install the control. After installation, close the browser window and reopen a new one. You should have a new printer icon with a small 'W' next to it on the toolbar. Press this to bring up a print dialog which will then print the page fitted to the width of your paper. Alternatively, hold down the Control key while pressing the button and you will get a print preview instead.
29/Jan/2003: I've updated the download version so that it should hopefully fix the problem with IE6 SP1. Your Downloaded Program Files should list IEPrint with version 1.0.0.140 after installing this version (the previous version was 1.0.0.123).

페이지에 접속하여 ActiveX Control을 설치하고 모든 IE창을 닫았다가 다시 켜면
툴바에 W가 들어간 인쇄 아이콘이 생깁니다.
(없으신 분은 보기->도구모음에서 찾아 띄워주면 되겠죠)
Ctrl키를 누른채로 아이콘을 클릭하면 미리보기가 됩니다.
지금 테스트 해보니 아주 깔끔하게 인쇄가 됩니다.
firefox나 opera에서는 기본으로 지원되는 이 기능을 IE에서만 따로 프로그램을 설치해야 합니다.
제작자 홈페이지에서 IE7버젼도 만들고 있다는걸 보니 IE7에서도 고쳐지지 않은듯 합니다.
상식적인 소프트웨어를 만든다는게 MS에게도 쉬운 일만은 아니겠지요.

그런데 this download page를 클릭해 보아도 ActiveX control이 설치가
되지 않습니다
어떻게 설치하셨는지요?
위 페이지에 들어가니 ActiveX Conrol이 설치됐습니다.
